Item quality seems to be random similar to mob drops. Need to confirm if item sell value scales with levels or just quality. Some purples can easily sell for 4+ silver whereas greens can only sell for like 200 copper.{{Professions}}
You can forge items at the level of your blacksmithing profession. Costs remain the same, but item level increases (can select which level to craft in the forge). XP is the same regardless of item level forged.
