Editing 2024 Christmas event

During the Christmas event you can earn up to 20 unique hats while doing an active activity that rewards experience. Passive activities do not reward Christmas hats {{CiteTwitter|url=https://twitter.com/AndrewCGower/status/1866488834814562448|author=Andrew Gower|date=10 December 2024}}. It is also possible to receive a duplicate hat, which can be swapped with another player. The event will end in early January 2025, after which it wont be possible to collect these hats. The hats offer no stat bonuses and are purely cosmetic which can be applied over the helmet/head slot using the [[transmog]] system.

The hats will be stored in a specific [[transmog]] inventory and do not use your normal inventory slots.

==Swapping hats==
Christmas hats from the event can be traded 1-to-1 with another player using the Nearby Players section of the Community interface or in the chat. The Christmas hat each player is currently wearing is the one that they will trade.
