== Infobox Monster Question and Request == Hello Gau Cho, I'm wondering if you could help me. I've taken on editing monster pages and their variants, and in doing so I've been trying to add the <nowiki>{{Infobox Monster}}</nowiki> module to the pages but add/remove specific rows. In specific, I've been trying to: * remove 'Health' from the infobox for specific monster pages (e.g. [[Goblin]] or [[Thug]]), * remove 'Experience' from the infobox for specific monster pages (same e.g. as above), * add a row named 'Aggressive' for monsters that have red names and automatically attack nearby players (e.g. [[Wendigo]]). Simply deleting the rows for both 'Health' and 'Experience' didn't work. The idea for this is that 'Health' and 'Experience' wouldn't show on pages like [[Sparring Guard]] if not written as those pages are the '''category''' of monster and wouldn't make sense as the Health and Experience values change with varieties, but would show on pages like [[Recruit Sparring Guard]] as it's a variant of Sparring Guard. This would act similarly to the functions: * |att_style = * |immune_to = * |vulnerable_to = It'd also allow users to note if a monster is aggressive to players nearby in the infobox. I'm guessing I'd have to edit [[Module:Infobox_Monster]], but I'm inexperienced with code/script. Do you think this is reasonable to add/change, and would you be willing to either explain how to do this, or edit it on my behalf? Kind regards. {{nbsp}}<small>βThe preceding [[Brighter Shores:Signatures|unsigned]] comment was added by [[Special:Contributions/Dribble|Dribble]] ([[User talk:{{#replace:Dribble|:|:}}|talk]]){{#if:| on {{#replace:{{{2}}}|<nowiki /> (UTC)}} (UTC)|}}.</small> Hey Dribble! I added |aggressive = as a parameter, it should go right after passiveness: https://brightershoreswiki.org/?title=Sneaky_Thief&diff=14205&oldid=4408 So the way the infoboxes are currently set up, in the medium term we can't really have an infobox monster for the variant page, as the infobox is/will be used to automatically generate other tables in the wiki. We could create a new type of infobox for the variant page that strongly resembles the monster infobox page I guess, but we probably need to reflect what it should look like exactly if we want one. If you are working on variants, you should ad the variant template at the top of the monster pages too! [[Lesser_Jellied_Eels]] Feel free to join us on the discord to further discuss: https://discord.gg/T8hfvcd2Vp --[[User:Gau Cho|Gau Cho]] ([[User talk:Gau Cho|talk]]) 14:41, 10 November 2024 (UTC) <br> Thank you for adding |aggressive as a parameter! I'll definitely be using that, and I'll 100% use the variant template too β hadn't seen that. I'll definitely jump on the Discord to chat more, as whilst I've edited wikis before, I'm a ''little'' rusty with getting my head wrapped around things haha. See you on there! :D --[[User:Dribble|Dribble]] ([[User talk:Dribble|talk]]) 15:25, 10 November 2024 (UTC) == Gp == Hello Gau Cho, I think the "Gp" redirect should be removed completely from the wiki, it shouldn't be used as a redirect for "coins". It's a RuneScape thing and it shouldn't belong to Brighter Shores, in my humble opinion. Kind regards --[[User:Raffaello|Raffaello]] ([[User talk:Raffaello|talk]])
