Returning the horn Edit
Talking to Captain Jal Degreene Edit
- Captain Jal Degreene: Afternoon, Player. How went your talk with our lord and master?
- Player: Good, he's looking into where that mysterious sorcerer might be.
- Player: In the mean time he's sent me on a mission to retrieve the Horn of Hopeport. Which was a success. I have the horn right here.
- Captain Jal Degreene: I guess you'd better bring the horn to Lord Brannof.
Talking to Lord Brannof Edit
- Lord Brannof: Have you managed to recover the Horn of Hopeport yet?
- Player: Yes I have it here.
- Lord Brannof: Oh wow, you've done it! A fine job sir.
- The player give Lord Brannof the Horn of Hopeport.
- Lord Brannof: I have good news. I received a report that a sorcerer with red robes took a ship bound for the city of Crenopolis.
- Naybeth the Philosopher: It's going to be hard to get to Crenopolis though. None of the ship captains will sail in the magical storm.
- Lord Brannof: There is another way. Through the cyclops path.
- Naybeth the Philosopher: The cyclops path? But the cyclopes hardly ever let humans through.
- Lord Brannof: You say hardly. That means there's a chance you could persuade them it's important.
- Player: I guess my next job is to talk to the cyclopes then.
- Lord Brannof: Well volunteered, though first you should clear it with Captain Degreene that you'll be leaving for another town.
- Naybeth the Philosopher: Surely as Lord of Hopeport you can override that old stick-in-the-mud.
- Lord Brannof: Technically, yes. But keeping the local law enforcement happy helps one remain as a lord.
- Player: Right so Captain Degreene first, the the Cyclopes.
