Ridged Herring is an item that can be obtained from Ridged Herring skill nodes in Boardwalk. Fishing Ridged Herring is a Passive activity unlocked with 34 Fisher and 4 Knowledge. Fishing for Ridged Herring requires a Fishing Rod, Blotchy Maggots for bait and Crates to contain them.

Catching Ridged Herring takes 20 seconds per action, consumes 0.005 units of bait and awards the player 11 XP and 0.005 units of a full crate. Each crate holds 200 catches and takes ~66 minutes to fill for a total of 2200 XP.

Catching Ridged Herring awards 1980 XP per hour.

Once the player reaches 45 Fisher fishing Ridged Herring is reduced to 5 XP per action. Players should instead move to catching Idle Sturlet.

Ridged Herring can be bought from and sold to The Frequently Fresh Fish Stall, or used by the Chef profession.
