The most efficient place to fell Pine Trees is in the vicinity of the [[Stump Clearing|Lumber Clearing]], where there are 5 trees close to each other, and a storage rift.

The 5 trees shown in the picture are close enough together that all 5 may be chopped in sequence before they respawn. This path is marked in red, and a cycle takes takes 53 seconds, for 10.6 seconds per tree or 339 logs per hour. However after every 24 logs chopped the players inventory will be full, and the logs must dropped, sold, or banked.

After the Jan 2nd 2024 update that enabled action queueing whilst changing the time and method on how nodes respawn, it appears that the Path of Good Intentions is quicker (or at least comparable) in speed to the aforementioned StumpLumber Clearing. Due to all 6 trees respawning rapidly at once, you are able to easily queue up 6 actions in one go. This allows the player longer periods of time to be distracted in other windows while still maintaining optimum chopping speed (which this anonymous editor is a big fan of!).
