The Mutant Newt will remain in the water surrounding the ferry, during which it is untargetable, until it has picked a side of the ferry - front, port or starboard - to attack. It will then leap onto its chosen side of the ferry, causing considerable damage to the player and a 5 second stun should they be hit by it. After the leap, the newt will proceed to damage the ferry for approximately half its maximum hitpoints, before returning to the water for a brief period and repeating the cycle. Each side of has its own HP bar which can be damaged and repaired independently. |
