While doing an action that yields [[experience]] of any kind, except while doing [[passive activities]], a bar in the professions [[interface]] will fill up at a fixed amount, dependent on the action. For example, defeating a creature in combat that is around your level yields about 3% of a knowledge point. Knowledge can overflow past 100% up until it is capped at 200%. It is recommended to spend your knowledge before it hits the cap.
