Note: XP/Gather is actually calculated as a percentage increase of the previous level, and as such is fractional. After a game update which allowed fractional XP to count towards your total XP, you may see XP drops off by 1 from those listed below. Upon gathering a fish, the player is awarded approximately 0.83% toward their knowledge points (KP), equaling about 20% knowledge for every inventory of gathered fish.
