A preview of a player fishing.

Fisher is a type of profession which specializes in catching fish. The skill name changes based on the gender of the player character, Fisherman for men and Fisherwoman for women.

Players receive a one-time experience bonus for the first catch of each fish added to your 'album'.

Starting Out

To begin training the profession, purchase a Fishing Spear from Melv's Fishing Supplies located off of the east side of the Town Square, south of the Guard HQ. Then, head back to East Beach where you gathered the Brown Kelp for the Tutorial Quest, and you will find Level 0 Mottled Flounders to begin your Fishing.

Fish Uses

All fish may be sold to the fishmonger, but many species are also used in the Chef profession. These can be stored in the Ingredients Bank in the The Delectable Dab Kitchen at the back of The Delectable Dab Restaurant on the west side of Stone Street.

Fishing Unlocks and Uses

Note: XP/Gather is actually calculated as a percentage increase of the previous level, and as such is fractional. After a game update which allowed fractional XP to count towards your total XP, you may see a -1 XP discrepancy from the values listed below.
