Reaching 0 hitpoints in combat will cause the player to respawn in the [[Hopeport (location)|Hopeport]] infirmary. Later zones may have their own respawn points. Other than lost time and being forcibly moved to the respawn point, there appear to be no other consequences for reaching 0 hitpoints.
