Players can store these ingredients in the [[ingredients bank]]. Ingredients are processed through a variety of equipment, depending on the recipe.
The profession is widely used as a way of making money, as these food items can be sold to the [[Head Chef]] or used to complete food delivery [[bounties]] on the [[Chef's Bounty Board]] (after reaching level 9). Unlike many other games, players cannot use food themselves to heal in combat.
