2024 Christmas event
During the Christmas event you can earn up to 20 unique hats while doing an active activity that rewards experience. Passive activities do not reward Christmas hats [1]. It is also possible to receive a duplicate hat, which can be swapped with another player. The event will end in early January 2025, after which it wont be possible to collect the Christmas 2024 hats. They offer no stat bonuses and are purely cosmetic, able to be applied over the player's helmet/head slot using the transmog system.
Collected hats are stored in a specific transmog inventory and do not use a player's normal inventory or banking slots.
Swapping hats
Christmas hats from the event can be traded 1-to-1 with another player using the Nearby Players section of the Community interface. The Christmas hat each player is currently wearing is the one that they will trade.
