During the Christmas event you can earn up to 20 unique hats while doing an active activity that rewards experience. Passive activities do not reward Christmas hats {{CiteTwitter|url=https://twitter.com/AndrewCGower/status/1866488834814562448|author=Andrew Gower|date=10 December 2024}}. It is also possible to receive a duplicate hat, which can be swapped with another player. The event will end in early January 2025, after which it wont be possible to collect the Christmas 2024 hats. They offer no stat bonuses and are purely cosmetic, able to be applied over the player's helmet/head slot using the [[transmog]] system.▼

During the 2024 Christmas event, players can collect up to 20 unique hats while doing active activities that reward [[knowledge]]. Hats are obtained at fixed intervals, with a hat being rewarded upon gaining 66.666...% knowledge after the start of the event or obtaining the previous hat.

Collected hats are stored in a specific transmog inventory and do not use a player's normal inventory or banking slots. They offer no stat bonuses and are purely cosmetic, able to be applied over the player's head slot using the [[transmog]] system. The [[transmog]] system was first released together with this event.

There are four types of hats that come in five different colors each. There are 20 different hats, so 1333.33% (13⅓) knowledge must be collected to be able to have at least one of all hats, after swapping duplicates.
